Mold: Single Cavity, Box Bumper Structure, 9763 Grams Part Weight
Before Sensonetics: Typically Produced 14% Rejects
After Sensonetics Nozzle Pressure Transducer & Repeater ValveTM:
10 kg Parts were molded within 3.0 Grams with virgin virgin Material.
10 kg parts were molded within 5.5 grams were molded without rejects, with a CPK = 6.4
Installation made October 1994, Original Transducer still installed.
This shows waht can be done with an old machine to
upgrade it into a precision molding machine at minimal conversion cost.
