Description

Silicon-on-Sapphire pressure transducers offer a significant improvement in performance over bonded foil strain gage and diffused semiconductor technologies at competitive prices. These pressure transmitters are perfect for high volume OEM applications on oil and gas submersible pipelines and any other applications where highly accurate pressure measurements are required.

Our SEN-500 Pressure Transmitter is specifically designed for use in submersible applications such as MUX control systems, subsea blowout preventers and well head measurements. A silicon-on-sapphire sensor will provide accuracy down to 0.05% FSO with effectively no hysteresis. A long term drift of less than 1% FSO and a proof pressure greater than five times the rated line pressure are standard features for this pressure transmitter.

Our electron beam welded 316 stainless steel construction is compliant with MRO175-97 for corrosive service. Ratings for a depth of 6000 meters (20,000 ft) is a standard feature. The SEN-500 is available with a variety of pressure port and electrical connector options. Custom packaging and high volume OEM applications are our specialty. Temperature ranges are available from -85°F to 750°F.

The all welded construction inherently protects from shock and vibration limits exceeding military standard specification Mil-STD 167-2 and exceeding Nav-Sea standards for shipboard shock.
